GCASA County Championships Report – Sessions 6-9

Sessions 6-9 of the GCASA County Championships saw more success for TSC swimmers. Here's some highlights: Sebastien Barley secured a Bronze Medal in his 100m Freestyle and three PBs, placing in the 200m Backstroke. Matt Benson took home Bronze for his 100m Breaststroke at a SWR qualifying time. Cora Brady, Hannah Church and Katie Francis showed their continuing progress with PBs in IM, Freestyle and Breaststroke.

Eve Heeley powered to two Bronzes – 400m Freestyle and 400m IM – and two Silver Medals – 100m Freestyle and 200m IM with impressive PBs. Eve's 100m Freestyle and 200m IM were also SWR qualifying times, so well done to her. Harry and Jess Lane PBd in their races, as did Sophie O'Neill, who was placed in three events and secured two SWR consideration times.

Grace Nolan had a highly successful weekend, finishing with two Gold Medals – in 400m and 100m Freestyle – and two Silvers – in 200m Backstroke and 200m IM. Oli Osborne achieved five PBs from his five races, placing in three events and securing a SWR qualifying time and a SWR consideration time. Archie Walsh and Molly Wilson secured PBs in their races, with Archie placed in his 100m Breaststroke.

In sessions 6-9, TSC secured 18 medals including two Gold, four Silver and four Bronze. The swimmers achieved 25 'top eight' finishes and 32 PBs from 47 swims. Well done to each and every swimmer – keep up the good work at the final GCASA County Championship weekend.
